The service is available to users worldwide.
Subscriptions
Is the subscription auto-renewing?
No. Subscriptions are valid for 30 days only and do not renew automatically.
Each subscription must be purchased manually after it expires.
Can I cancel my subscription?
You may stop using the service at any time. However, once a subscription has been purchased,
it remains active for its full 30-day duration and cannot be canceled or refunded.
Do I get a refund if I don't use the subscription?
No. All subscriptions are digital services and are non-refundable, regardless of usage.
Tokens
What are tokens?
Tokens are virtual digital units used to generate text, audio, and illustrations on the platform.
What is the difference between Monthly Tokens and Extra Tokens?
• Monthly Tokens are granted as part of an active subscription and expire 30 days after being granted.
• Extra Tokens can be purchased separately and do not expire.
Both types of tokens are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for money.
What happens to unused Monthly Tokens?
Unused Monthly Tokens expire automatically after 30 days.
Can I get a refund for unused tokens?
No. Tokens are digital products and are non-refundable, including unused tokens.
Digital Products
Can I get a refund for ebooks or audiobooks?
No. Ebooks and audiobooks are digital products, and all purchases are final and non-refundable.
Marketplace & Earnings
Can I sell content generated on CHAPTER-ONE?
Yes. Users may sell generated ebooks and audiobooks through the CHAPTER-ONE marketplace,
provided the content complies with all platform rules.
How much do creators earn from sales?
Creators receive 60% of the sale price of each sold ebook or audiobook.
How and when are payouts processed?
• Payouts are processed only via PayPal.
• The minimum payout amount is 50 USD.
• Payouts are manually reviewed and approved by the platform administrator.
• Processing may take several business days.
Do I have to pay taxes on my earnings?
Yes. Users are solely responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes related to their earnings.
AI Content & Rules
Who owns the generated content?
Users are responsible for the content they generate and how it is used.
CHAPTER-ONE does not guarantee exclusivity or originality of AI-generated content.
Can I generate adult or violent content?
Limited adult themes and non-graphic narrative violence may be allowed, provided they comply with OpenAI policies and platform rules.
Pornographic, explicit, illegal, or extreme content is strictly prohibited.
What happens if I violate the AI content rules?
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or termination, and blocking of payouts or account balances.
Privacy & Payments
What personal data do you collect?
We collect only the minimum necessary data, such as email address and username.
Additional information is optional or required only for payouts.
Do you store payment card details?
No. All payments are processed securely by third-party providers (Stripe and PayPal).
CHAPTER-ONE does not store payment card information.
